Oils
The fact that Parafina del Plata S.A.C.I. is one of only three producers
of Base Oils in the country means that it occupies a strategic positioning
in ensuring the demand for these petroleum derivatives on both domestic
and regional markets can be met.
During the production process to obtain macrocrystalline paraffin,
the mineral oils in the paraffin are separated. After a process of
vacuum distillation, these mineral oils are transformed into Refined
Base Oils, for various applications.
